• A Perfect Day - When we hired J&E Construction & Carpentry Services!
Johel Chavez and his brother provided a reasonable Quote for our Deck Repair - replacing several boards. They quickly pointed out a few more spots that also needed to be repaired for safety and now the deck will have a longer life.
The same day, Johel left to buy the materials at Lowes and get another team member to tackle the job! Together they quickly removed all the bad boards. And, before we knew it the new boards were expertly inserted. It was impressive. Johel’s team was so proficient, they worked fast and efficiently. They were a Super Team, making the project stress-free for us!

Johel and Elmer were excellent to work with. The initial plan was to replace the deckboards, stairs, and trim; however, the deck clearly needed much more work. The cost was still reasonable. They worked with me to keep the existing privacy fence and rail. They installed composite decking with an angle design, a picture frame edge and 2 sets of stairs. I have no doubt everything is quality, secure, and will last for many many years. It is beautifully finished. I'm very impressed with their work and already recommended them to a neighbor. They were timely, responsive, and very enjoyable to work with. They cleaned up and tidied everything when they were finished. My deck was immediately ready to enjoy. J & E Construction did an outstanding job building my wrap-around front porch! They built it exactly as planned, using quality materials and meeting all building code standards. Communication with Johel, the owner, was excellent—he responded quickly to all my inquiries and was extremely responsible and professional throughout the project.
