We hired them to lay a slab for a future garage project. All in all, it was a fairly middling job. They didn’t follow our specifications for the thickness of the slab or the offsets, and there was pushback when I asked them to remedy this (they didn’t) and they left a bit of a mess around the worksite. There was a large crack at one corner of the slab, which they did fix immediately (after I asked). They were prompt and fast, and they dealt with an unexpected problem (a large piece of buried ledge that we had not known about) without asking us to pay more. not the best communication – texts went unanswered, for example.

Zacarias Excavation removed 5 very large rocks from our front yard. Very positive experience. They broke up the rocks, removed the pieces in a dump truck, and laid down top soil. They were very responsive, had a fair price, and got the job done quicker than we thought. We will likely use them again to rebuild our front walkway.
