Seeing we are a smaller company, I am always on site working with the team, some of which I have been working side, by side for 15 + years. The most rewarding part of any job comes at the end when the customer and their family thank you and really compliment your work with their own thoughts and words. It is great to hear what your hard work translates through another persons thoughts or eyes. It gives you a much greater appreciation for your own work, and helps you get better along the way.

Dana Anderson set up an appointment to examine my yard for a landscaping estimate and was supposed to meet me at my house at 10 am. He sent me a text at 10:15 am and indicated that he couldn't meet me until 1 pm. After I confirmed that I was available to meet with him at 1 pm, he never got in touch with me again despite my leaving him a phone mail message and 2 text messages. Who has time to deal with such disappointing and unprofessional behavior?

Dennis, your response to my apologies for not being on time being I had a worker not show up, leaving me to pick up the slack filling in to do the trucking and operating the heavy equipment to haul the fill off my job site was, " wow how unprofessional" at that point I said to myself I could only imagine if something else were to go not as planned..... I decided I would not even meet with you, let alone work for you! Thumbtack is a great site to meet contractors/homeowners. I'm sure you will link up with someone else. Dana Anderson is one of the best contractors that I have ever worked with. He was very professional from the start. He and his crew installed pavers in front of my loft/townhouse in Cambridge, MA. It looks fabulous now. He kept me constantly updated on the progress of the work with txts/pictures; this was important because I was not present when he completed the work. I highly recommend Dana and told him I would be a reference for him.
