- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
There was an inside sales team of people who had not received much training. They had no management other than someone wanting details of their work. I helped the sales manager establish more "standards" for the team, how to "Inspect what they expect," and how to focus development of their people on the areas which had the biggest impact on getting business. We increased the yield of the sales team by 40% in 6 months.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
How do you leverage the investment you make in training your sales team? Make sure your managers have been trained by SLC!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that all of my prospects knew how ineffective their managers "Coach and Develop" their people today. I wish they knew how many dollars they were throwing away because the training they provide reps is not reinforced and coached by the sales manager. I wish that every senior manager knew how valuable it was to ask to listen in while a sales manager "Coaches" one of their reps after a sales call!!!
