We hired Joe to redo our old stairs in our home. They needed A LOT of work and he did an unbelievable job- custom fitting each stair, working with me to determine a color and even increasing the size of the stairs to give us a bit more room. He was extremely respectful of our home - very neat and clean, always closing doors when going in and out, etc. Reallt appreciated his hard work and would definitely recommend him for any of your home jobs.Feb 26, 2017Verified
I hired Joe to install some interior and exterior doors for me. I never waited long for Joe to respond to questions and he was very clear in his communication regarding timeline and approach, etc. The work Joe did was top notch and he made the work look easy. Always pleasant to deal with, I would/will hire Joe again for future jobs.Nov 16, 2017Verified
JP came to look at one project for us and ended up taking care of two! We had a few different contractors come through, but JP was the most professional and had the best vision for completing what we were trying to accomplish. Everything went perfectly according to plan and we couldn't be happier with the finished result. We discussed costs up front and everything came in on budget. Very responsive to any questions or concerns that came up and had perfect suggestions for when we didn't know which direction to go in. Very happy with everything and won't hesitate to call for any future projects!Nov 14, 2017
Joe just finished our deck. Complete redo. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He worked with us to design the deck that fit our budget. His work is top quality. He is coming back to change out a door for us. I would highly recommend him.Aug 30, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I look at each project , determine the material and labor cost and go from there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially get some project details, discuss it over a phone call, then proceed with a site visit and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started working for building contractors when I was 15 , during the summer months, mostly framing new homes. I was good in math and good with my hands and really just took to it. Later after college where I trained to be a teacher and did teach school initially, I again went back to carpentry. I worked for Duggan Brothers Construction in Scituate Ma and later Winthrop A . Baker Inc of Duxbury, both really good companies with highly skilled carpenters. I received great training in all aspects of homebuilding, repair and restoration. I later went into business for myself.
