Introduction: We offer roof installation and repairs of all types of residential roofs, including rubber roofing, architectural asphalt, three-tab asphalt and rolled roofing. We offer insulation and ventilation services/preventive maintenance, including blown-in insulation, rolled insulation, soffit vents and panels and attic storage decks. Proper insulation reduces heat loss, and proper ventilation is also necessary to prevent ice dams, curling and cracking, which can all lead to a leaky roof. In addition, proper ventilation reduces moisture build-up, which could result in a potential mold problem and the need to replace all existing insulation and/or roof decking. Some extra precautions we take to ensure quality workmanship are using 6 nails per shingle, as opposed to the standard 4 (hurricane nailing), cutting all plywood seams to prevent buckling, and re-nailing all plywood seams.
