I highly recommend Corrine Hisbany after meeting with her to sort out a years worth of data for my newly formed S-Corp. She met with both my Assistant and I which left us impressed with the knowledge, patience, responsiveness and advise she shared!
My background is a small business owner in the Real Estate Industry and Quickbooks and accounting is new to me as is the entire process of bookkeeping. Reconcile? What is that and how do you know what goes where? Oh, yes - all the receipts how do you categorize and upload them? What I needed from a consultant was detailed knowledge to help me set up my business correctly, how to properly log and process each step.
Corrine was suggested to me by a friend who utilized her skillset. I still met with other accountant types and for different reasons they didn't fit my needs correctly or I just did not feel as comfortable with them as I did with Corrine. She is the best, truly!

Corrine is highly skilled and very attentive to my needs. I like how easy it is to work with her. She comes ready to tackle my accounting issues and doesn't flinch when I throw piles of receipts at her. She is punctual and accurate. Our former bookkeeper left us with quite a mess. We found Corrine through a referral. Though we are out of state, she has a fantastic process for working with remote clients. She set us up quickly, and not only caught up our books, but she also went back and fixed the issues that our previous bookkeeper created. Corrine worked well with our CPA and did all the work quickly, accurately, with professionalism and good humor. We are so glad to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone in the US who needs a bookkeeper. It doesn't matter that we are in Washington DC and she is in Boston. We highly recommend her services!
