Hi Brenda, I hope you are having a good day. Unfortunately, I do not believe I received your first message. When you called again a relative answered and passed along your message. I called you as soon as I returned. I was honored to be considered for your writing assignment. Please understand, I am very sensitive to cancer patients. Many family members and friends suffered from the disease. Currently, we are anxiously waiting for results from my mother's diagnosis. She may have lung cancer. I too suffer from a disease...some days I feel good; other times I do not. But I want you to know that I am sorry about the telephone call. I am not sure what happened.
