Introduction: Terrascapes has over 14 years providing landscape design, landscape installation, and fine gardening services throughout the Boston area. Our mission is to advocate environmentally responsible landscaping and horticultural practices. Our scope ranges from smaller front and rear yard designs to complete master plans. We strive to keep within budgets and to deliver projects on time. Our fine gardening team is well-educated in the areas of horticulture and garden maintenance. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and seasonal gardening. We also provide container gardening services. We love being able to provide exceptional design and fine gardening services which create and maintain garden spaces our clients enjoy and want to spend time in. We also enjoy having staff members who share our passion for gorgeous gardens and landscapes which are maintained using responsible ecological practices.

We had Susan plan and design a project for the front of the house. We were thrilled with the result of the perennial garden - so many textures and heights and movement which included beautiful grasses, flowers, and flowering plants. Her team is easy to work with and knowledgeable. We were so pleased, we had her do another small project this year.

Terrascapes was (is) wonderful. They provided a full range of services, from weeding and planting to hauling away a dumptruck full of brush and other debris. They are coming back to plant bulbs for spring! They quickly scheduled my job, arrived on time, and left the site clean. They leave a sheet with details of what was done. I would recommend them without reservation!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Landscape and garden design prices are based on the scope of the project. Garden maintenance is an hourly rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with either garden maintenance or design clients, we schedule an initial consultation to determine the scope of work and ensure the chemistry is right for both the client and our firm. After the initial consultation, we provide a proposal which shows the scope of work and the estimated cost. On acceptance of the proposal, we send out a service agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We always stay up-to-date on design trends for our industry. We also provide education to our fine gardening staff. Our staff includes NOFA certified gardeners, urban master gardeners, and vegetable gardening experts.
