From my first lesson, I knew that Tomoko was the right teacher for me. One of the first things she said to me was "you play music because you have something to say, and my job is to help you learn to say it".
That put me at ease, and Tomoko's obvious love of music and the violin, and her enthusiasm for teaching have been a constant source of inspiration to me since I started my lessons.
Because of this I have progressed much faster than I had imagined I would. I look forward to my lessons and my practice sessions, confident that my skills will continue to grow under Tomoko's expert guidance.
