I hired Tony for the project and gave him 50% deposit as he requested. He was very fast on getting the money. The problems started later, when he placed the crashed stone without weed protection. Even though it was written in the contract he got very upset when I told him to fix it. He said that it is too much work now and all he can do is to spray weeds for me for the next 3 years at no charge. Then he simply disappear and didn't return for about 3 days. I got him on the phone at the end of 3rd day and he said to me that he already loosing money on my project because it takes too long and because he needed to buy extra material. He also said that he has 45 more accounts that he needs to do some work or he will loose them. That's why I need to wait. So he came finally, started to work on a different flower bed and didn't put weed protection again. I sent him a picture of it and asked to come back and fix it, but this time he wrote that " your help expectations are completely unreasonable so at this point we are going to agree to disagree and you keep the remaining balance of the job and find someone else to finish". At this time I had two big flower beds with crashed stone on them that needs to be removed and reapplied after installation of weed fabric. My irrigation was not working because Tony started to move it. Grass on my lawn was placed upside down because Tony used bob cat. I gave him 50% down payment, but now have to spend double to fix what he'd done. Then need to pay to actually complete the project. IF YOU DECIDE TO HIRE TONY - GOOD LUCK, BUT BE VERY CAREFULL.
