As a developer, we typically need plans done well and sometimes, creatively. We've used Greg and Ed numerous times now, and with their in-depth knowledge and quick response, we've been able to push every job through and come up with practical solutions for every problem that comes up. Plot plans & surveys, Wetlands, zoning restrictions, sewer tie-ins, septic plans, you name it. I highly recommend them for EVERY type of service they offer, residential & commercial, and know you won't be disappointed.

My Company, Halifax trails Co. Inc., recently retained the services of Gregory Driscoll, Jr., P.E. (JDE) to steer us through the process of getting our 26 unit townhouse development approved by special permit, in the town of Halifax Ma. With the help of JDE we got a unanimous approval from the the Halifax Board of Appeals, Planning Board, Conservation and Board of Health. This is the first multifamily in Halifax in 35 years. All of the work performed by JDE was of the highest standard and I will retain JDE to engineer my next development. I highly recommend JDE for any of your surveying and engineering work.

Hired on Thumbtack

The people at Driscoll were very professional, the initial contact through Thumbtack had a smooth transition to direct contact with the engineering firm. All messages I sent, E-mail and text, generated a quick response on their behalf. They were direct with their policies, pricing, and met my expectations for getting the job done in a timely manner. As for workmanship, the men who did the survey went to great lengths to be precise is the placement of the stakes going so far as climbing across a block wall in order to avoid plants that I would have just walked across. The only negative I experienced was a two day delay from the planned date due to an equipment issue, but even then I received their apologies for the delay. Overall the experience surpassed my expectations.
