Write of Passage Writing Coaching

Introduction: My tutoring style is informal and connective, supportive and rigorous at once. I love to work with students on their writing -- be it any form of creative writing, college application essays, or analytical essay writing. I have worked with people from age 10 to age 70 and enjoy all ages. I am an experienced high school English teacher and administrator (22 years of teaching). I have also taught history and Latin, from grades 7 to 12. I spent 5 years working as a learning specialist and organizational/academic coach at Harvard University. I have taught ESL at a strong independent school, as well as creative writing in high schools and at Smith College. I'm Harvard educated (undergraduate and graduate).
