FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Nicolet Renovations, our typical process for working with a new customer is as follows: 1. Initial Consultation: We start by scheduling an initial consultation with the customer. This can be done in person or virtually, depending on the customer's preference and location. During this meeting, we get to know the customer, their vision, and their specific renovation needs. We discuss their goals, budget, and timeline. 2. Site Assessment: If applicable, we conduct a thorough site assessment to understand the current condition of the property and the scope of the renovation. This step is crucial in determining what can be achieved and ensuring that the project aligns with local regulations and building codes. 3. Design and Planning: Based on the information gathered during the consultation and site assessment, we develop a customized design and project plan. This includes architectural drawings, material selections, and a detailed timeline. We work closely with the customer to ensure their vision is incorporated into the design. 4. Budget Proposal: We provide the customer with a detailed budget proposal that outlines the cost of the renovation, including labor, materials, permits, and any other related expenses. We aim to be transparent and ensure the customer's budget aligns with the proposed project. 5. Contract Agreement: Once the customer is satisfied with the design, planning, and budget, we draft a comprehensive contract that outlines all project details, responsibilities, and expectations. This contract is reviewed with the customer, and any questions or concerns are addressed. 6. Permitting and Approvals: We take care of obtaining any necessary permits and approvals required for the renovation, ensuring that the project complies with local regulations. 7. Construction and Renovation: With all the planning in place, our skilled team of craftsmen and contractors begin the renovation work. We maintain open communication with the customer throughout the process, providing regular updates on the project's progress. 8. Quality Assurance: Quality is of utmost importance to us. We conduct regular quality checks to ensure that the work is being done to the highest standards and that the customer's expectations are met. 9. Project Completion: Once the renovation is complete, we perform a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure that everything meets their satisfaction. Any necessary touch-ups or adjustments are made. 10. Customer Satisfaction: Customer satisfaction is something we value. We ensure that the customer is happy with the finished project and that all their needs have been met. 11. 1 year correction period: We provide a 1-year correction period on our work and materials used. Our goal at Nicolet Renovations is to make the renovation process as smooth and stress-free as possible, providing our customers with a space they love. We prioritize open communication, transparency, and quality throughout every step of the process.
