Using Phil is a no brainer. I attempted a project on my home involving shutters but failed so I looked up contractors for help. Phil responded to my email within one day. He came to my home for an assessment and gave me a quote within two days. On the fourth day after emailing him the project was finished and done to profection. He finished the project before any other contractors could come out to assess. Phil is professional,personable,and affordable also talented. I hight recommend him.

I have a screened porch which got damaged over the winter, and needed to be replaced.
Phil came up with the most innovative design - the new porch is beautiful and I have been getting comments and compliments from neighbors and friends.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Total disclosure, I definitely discount my labor 10%-35% depending on the size and estimated time it will take to complete the project.. 25% senior discount, 25% military discount..
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking what exactly there vision for their project, what materials preference and we always come up with a couple of options..!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been in the trade for over 40 years, I’ve been lead carpenter on a 16 million dollar 8000 square foot home in Brookline for four years in 2008, I’m OSHA 30 certified. And 4 years ago I took an advanced woodworking class in Missouri for a week.
