great lessons! Johnny made the class clear and easy for beginners like me, and used some tricks on techniques to help me to get familiar with the instrument, very patient and detailed. He is very organized in the teaching plan and answers my question when I practice even when we are not having classes via texts. would recommend to anyone who’s interested in learning cello.

Johnny is an excellent cello teacher and a phenomenally skilled cellist! He is very thoughtful and pays close attention to the student's technique for both fingering and bowing. Johnny gives great anecdotes and analogies to illustrate how to think about playing a certain song or bow strokes for a certain section, for example. He is fun and patient and readily adapts to what the student needs. I highly recommend Johnny as a cello teacher, for cello students of all levels!

Very easy to set up a lesson, geared to my current level of playing. Johnny is very patient and friendly....funny too! I am pretty shy-but, he made it very comfortable to learn from him. I will be scheduling many more lessons and become a great cellist! :)

Great teacher! He is able to pin point the root cause of technique and walk you step by step through how to fix them. This is only my third lesson and I can already feel and hear a difference! Extremely friendly and well spoken! Would definitely recommend!
