LOVED my Halloween makeup!! Rosalba is absolutely lovely and I would have her do my make up again in a heart beat!Oct 31, 2015Verified
Rosa was fantastic!! From the moment we started chatting...I knew she would be perfect for what I needed. Her portfolio was a huge selling point...her pics of former clients spoke volumes. I contacted after my event...letting her know that I felt like Cinderella. At the end of the night...I didn't want to take my makeup off! I would definitely hire her again and highly recommend her!Oct 21, 2015Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is based on my extensive portfolio (NYC & LA Fashion Weeks, and an extremely large bridal clientele over the past 10 years). It is important to understand WHY bridal makeup can be costly. Unfortunately, several brides will opt for a less expensive makeup artist, and now a days, many "makeup artists" are self taught, with no extensive training. I have had SEVERAL clients reach out to me after passing on my services (wishing that they did in fact hire me) because they were only looking to spend about $50 on makeup, CRYING, because the makeup was horrid. It did not last, it did not photograph, it caused a rash and was not symmetrical. A lot goes into bridal pricing. Aside from my extensive portfolio, to maintain my PROFESSIONAL kit, it costs quite a bit. I ONLY use professional products, and only use high definition products. I also use hypoallergenic, and more often than not, also non-comedeogenic (non-pore clogging). Sanitation is also costly yet absolutely necessary. If makeup is something that is of importance to you on your big day, or whatever the occasion may be, please understand that professional services will be a bit of an investment, but always worth it in the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Upon being hired, I will send all clients a contract. Once the client sends the signed contract to me along with a deposit, their requested date is then secured. Many makeup artists do not use contracts, and can cancel on a client the day of a requested service. Contracts are very important. Next, we will set up a date for a trial. That day will be the day to experiment with a desired and/or new look. It will involve a consultation for both skin and makeup needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Absolutely. I go to seminars all over the country to stay with new trends.
