Introduction: I train poodles of all sizes as assistant dogs to help people with disabilities live more independent lives.
I also have training courses for owners to take with their pet dog of any breed, from basic obedience, to therapy visits, getting a drink from the fridge and turning on the lights. I also offer some private sessions which can be at your home.

Jillian's knowledge of dogs is amazing. She trained my current service dog for me. I've been partnered with her for about three months. In addition to training my dog, Jillian taught and trained me. She gave me a lot of information about dogs and how they learn and why they might behave in certain ways. She taught me how to correct any problems that might arise in the future. The information was given to me in a manner that is easy to understand while still being very in depth. Jillian is awesome with dogs and she is also great with people, she is extremely gentle and kind.
I would highly recommend her services. You would be incredibly lucky to have the chance to work with her. I can't say enough good things about her and how the work she does has changed my life. I truly wouldn't change my experience with her. She knew when I was able to tolerate a bit of a push to get things accomplished and also knew when I had hit my point of exhaustion and my brain was fried. And my while my dog is completely bonded to me now she absolutely remembers and misses Jillian because when we go to visit she gets super excited which I think says a lot from my dog about how much she loved being there.

Jillian is a professional. She is caring and loving towards the dogs, and very patient with their people! She helped my rescue poodle gain trust in strangers. I would highly recommend her.

Jillian led a trick training session at our poodle club meeting. In the brief time she helped me and a group of other poodle owners teach our dogs new tricks. I was impressed at how she broke the skill down into small steps so we and our dogs were successful right away. I was especially impressed that my dog and I came away from the session with two complete new tricks.

Very gentle, centered spirit! Her love for animals shows when she is training dogs. She not only works with the dog, but with the human to identify the best way to train through problems. She was able to help me identify where the communication breakdown occurred and what steps to take to successfully train through it. Her skill level is impressive having raised and trained service dogs as well as k9 athletes. From basic manners and bathtub rapport to reading signs to using a yo-yo, Jillian has taught it all! It's not often I trust a human with my dog, and I trust Jillian! You won't find a better trainer around!! I haven't!!!
