Introduction: Joseph Coan Landscape Architecture (JCLA) provides clients with design solutions that enhance the relationship between the natural and built environments. JCLA is led by Joseph Coan, a registered landscape architect with nearly 10 years of professional experience in providing master planning, conceptual design, illustrative graphics and construction documents for both small- and large-scale public and private projects. His works have included designs of public spaces (such as parks, streetscapes, and bike paths/trails) as well as corporate and government campuses, housing developments, residential estates and green infrastructure. JCLA bases their work on the three following principles: 1. Every site is unique, but it is also part of a larger community fabric. Good design should enhance both. 2. A design should be aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. 3. A strong relationship between the clients and the designer is essential for quality results.
