I am a fellow make up artist, and I found Alicia here on Thumbtack because I needed help with a large wedding party. She was amazing to work with, and I feel lucky to have met her. I couldn't have asked for a better helper. She did full faces and hair on 3 women flawlessly. Being a make up artist and hairstylist myself, I was able to observe her techniques and she is a very talented. She communicates with the client throughout the process and gets her work done in a timely manner. Very satisfied, this was a 4 AM call time! Absolutely worth hiring, and I look forward to working with her again

Alicia did my wedding make up. She was attentive weeks before the wedding and made sure to schedule as many trials to make me feel comfortable. Just a genuinely nice person. My makeup looked great and she helped steam my dress! I'm very glad to have worked with her.

What a talented artist! Hair and makeup for my wedding was absolutely perfect! She was timely, organized and very nice to my friends and family. Knowing brides so well, she stayed through the ceremony so she could touch up all the makeup I cried off. Her beautiful work lasted the full 12 hour day without me needed to touch anything up. If I ever have another event that warrants a glam look that only a professional can do, I will definitely be coming back to Alicia!

Really getting to know their style. Every person has certain looks they gravitate towards, or you could be wanting to try something new. The first step is always learning about the type of look we will achieve!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm frequently catching up on the latest trends with MAKEUP FOREVER pro classes, MAC education, and Bobbi Brown classes.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for this. I would say it all started with looking through magazines. Getting inspired by women I see on the pages, and just really appreciating the artistry side to it.
