I actually went to High School with Dan, I had not talked to him in years and was a bit surprised to see he quoted me on some work for my door installation! I've been holding off on the work but wanted to leave Dan a review anyways. He was very prompt with his communication, came to my house and gave me a very elaborate description of what work needed to be done. He also offered a very fair price compared to other quotes I had received. I will update the review once I've had the work done.

Dan installed a butcher block countertop on some newly installed cabinets. We'd ordered the butcher block custom-made and then realized upon receipt that the company didn't do installs. Dan was willing to come out to do this small job for a fair price. Dan was friendly and knowledgeable and when we realized that the cabinets had settled improperly - leaving a noticeable gap between the counter and two cabinets - he walked through my options, including figuring out whether he could stick around and re-install the cabinets for me. We ended up choosing to just install some filler on our own, but Dan seemed to actually care that he walked through how to do it so it would look good in the end. One of the problems with this review is that I can't guarantee quality of work until the butcher block has expanded/contracted over multiple seasons. I had to leave before the end of the install, but Dan was willing to take a call from me and walk through the ways he'd relieved the butcher block to account for minimal expansion of the wood. He also gave a "I stand behind my work" spiel and said I could always call in the future if the countertop buckles and he'd come and fix it. He spoke frequently about how his real passion is custom cabinetry and kitchen additions. Obviously, I can't speak to his work on cabinetry, but if you want an attentive, easy-to-deal with contractor for a future kitchen job I feel like Dan is a good bet.

We are always looking at the latest housing trends and what seems to be up and coming. We also are always keeping our OSHA certifications up to date.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a passion for carpentry since I was young. I started in high school and just kept going.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most jobs that we do are home improvement jobs such as kitchen and bath remodels. We love creating custom cabinetry. We also do a bunch of window and door replacements.
