Introduction: We offered a full package of services so you don't have to worry about getting any of your vendors. We have a variety of vendors that will fit your personality and your event. Genuine Events offer personal assistants not only planners. Your personal assistant will book meetings for you and will handle the budget. All you need to do is write the checks, once we have found a vendor you like. You don't have to do anything. We will do a presentation of your wedding day flow and how it will look, so you have an idea of what to expect. We are very passionate about our work. We love to see the happy smiles and gratitude on our customers faces. We take pride on every single detail we do and everything needs to be perfect before we presented. We take every event as if it were our own event.

I was too busy working full time and going to school at night getting my master's. I didn't need the added presure of planning a wedding as well. I needed someone with experience and people experience. I admit I'm not the easiest person to deal with. I know what I like and like things my way. I looked around for wedding planners however I decided to hire Rocio at Genuine Events becuase of her personality, organizational skills and her creativity. Right at the moment I meet her I knew she was my wedding planner. She asked me about me and what I wanted on our first meeting. It was like talking to a friend. Other wedding planners I talked to try to sell me their service. Believe me you can tell when someone is pushing too hard to sell you something. Rocio knew exactly what I wanted. The DJ was a hit everybody had so much fun. The cake was gorgeous and delicious. I drew a very bad picture of what I wanted my cake to look like. Rocio had an actual picture of the cake! When I saw my cake at the reception it was exactly what I wanted! much better looking than the picture I drew. Everybody had a great time. People are still talking about my wedding and the best part is that I didn't have to move a finger. Rocio got everything I needed. She took care of everything for me giving me the time to study. From the beginning when I knew that I will get married,especially in 6 months I had two things on my mind , I needed wedding planner and my wedding had to be on budget..... I needed wedding planner because I had little baby and on the budget because I just lost a job.... I went on internet and found Rocio's website...I set up meeting and have to say I was little bit skeptical and nervous.. I was wrong. Rocio came on time, she was friendly and very professional. I explained what kind of wedding I want, my budget and every little thing I need. As a busy mom I handed everything to Rocio. During couple weeks we met and when my big day was coming closer and closer I was very nervous. For me, get married was a big deal and I was counting 100% on Rocio's work being done. When I came I was ABSOLUTELY amazed, everything was so beautiful and breath taking. Rocio definitely did excellent job. My guests loved every piece and they are still talking about it.... Rocio is the Best Wedding Planner!!! She was extremely professional and yet felt like family. She took a lot of pressure off of us so we could enjoy our day. It is so much easier to work with one person vs trying to coordinate with all of our vendors. We were on such a tight budget, she worked around it and made my day beautiful. She also asked questions I never even thought of. Thank god for Rocio... seriously. I really don't know what we would have done without her. Ketul and Krima

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is really simple; it is a percentage of the budget. My fees will be included in the total budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
yes, in fact I'm taking a web development class, so I can create blogs for my brides to go online and keep everyone informed about what's going on. This will be a value added service I'll be offering. My couple will be able to have their own website.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been passionate about parties and decorating. I have been planning parties and reception since I was 16 years old. While planning my wedding I understood how stressful it is and how much it takes out of the couple. I planned my own wedding, but I wished I had hired an wedding planner. First of all, It would have saved me so much stress, I could have spent more time with my family, and I could have saved some money. After my wedding, I decided to go to school and become a wedding planner.
