FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Home inspection fees depend on the age, size and type of house and whether there are additional building such as garages, outbuildings, swimming pools and spas. Please call me for a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I urge my clients to attend their home inspection. I encourage questions during and after the inspection. My job is not done until I have addressed all their questions and concerns. I provide a written report within 24 hrs and provide follow-up consultations at no extra charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most home inspectors have only several hundred hours of classroom training. And most of these inspectors do not have formal construction or engineering training. On the other hand, my extensive classroom training exceeds 9000 hours. And I have 35+ years of combined work experience in home inspection, construction and engineering. I am licensed in many construction trades such as home inspector, contractor (construction supervisor), electrician, plumber, gas fitter, oil heat and air conditioning. I also have BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
