This is my first experience with community acupuncture and I am so happy to have found Joyce. Finally, I can afford to get treatments a few times each month and it has made a big difference. Joyce is always on time and she always takes time before and after appointments to talk to me. She is warm and caring. My neck and upper back feel much better, my digestion is much improved and I'm sleeping better. After a session my skin is glowing and I feel calm and relaxed! The office is not fancy, but that's fine by me. Joyce is gentle and very skilled. Give it a try! You won't be sorry.

I had two painful areas that would not heal. One was a shoulder injury and the other was a bunion growing on my left foot. After only a few 1 hr. treatments, Joyce healed both with good questioning, careful observation, and excellent techniques. If I have pain, I head for her place. The fee is reasonable and...the music is so relaxing as well! High quality acupuncture.

I tried acupuncture for the first time with Joy this past week. I had horrible pain in my knee from wrenching it and I could not put any weight on it at all. I could not sleep the pain was so bad. At first I was skeptical about a "community environment" but it is perfectly fine. Sometimes you are alone in the area and some times others are getting treatments in the same room. This is what keeps the cost down. Other places I looked at charged 150-110 for first treatment and 125-100 every treatment there after. I could not afford that, so I tried this community approach first since I never had acupuncture before. After the first session, I actually felt worse but I went back again because I heard that it can feel worse before it gets better. I am glad I did. Every session there after reduced my pain considerably. I can now sleep without pain, I can sit without pain and I can walk very gingerly without pain. It elevated my mood, it relaxed me and reduced my stress levels. And no you cannot feel the needles whatsoever, they are painless. Joy is a very caring person and cares very much that your problem gets resolved.

I was asked to do acupuncture at Baycove Health Center for their annual health fair. It was great experience treating 25 people in 4 hours. It was wonderful to see people relax together!
