Used Chef Colin for a luncheon and he was extremely professional and the food was excellent. My wife is vegan and he was able to accommodate her dietary needs as well. I would use Chef Colin again, thank you for a enjoyable experience.

Chef Colin Shea catered our Passover Seder event last week (4/5/2023). It was a last minute decision and Colin was responsive, attentive and was very easy to work with. I had specific requests and all were fulfilled. He came with 2 super lovely helpers Carrie and Rachel. Our party of 19 was very happy with the service, the food and the general interaction and attitude. There was more than enough food - plenty of leftovers for the next couple of days. All guests were very happy and the place was left spic and span. Thanks a lot for making it a great evening and letting my back relax.

Chef Colin Shea came and taught me girls how to cook and helped them prepare a family meal. The food was delicious and it really built my girls confidence cooking in the kitchen. One was a beginner (16) the other (19) is a little more comfortable in the kitchen. It was good seeing how proud they both were at the end of the session. I hope to do this again. Being in our own home I know they can replicate what they created. A huge win-win!

Chef did a terrific job. He made everything I requested perfectly. And timed each course out so the entire dinner flowed. Chef came out to entertain us and announce each course. If you’re having a big party dinner chef can’t be beat!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cooking classes are 135.00 for the first person and $75.00 after that, but if you have a group the prices decreases. Meals I provide to a family of four are generally $250.00 plus the cost of groceries per week. Not too bad considering you now have time to spend with your children as they do their homework. Catering weddings and whatnot varies based on your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hello, once I here you are looking for a chef, I normally reach out to you and ask that you call me so that we may discuss specifics about your event and get you a proper quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a personal library of over 200 cookbooks. I receive many periodicals and magazines about the culinary world. I stay in touch with colleagues from Johnson & Wales and I am constantly seeking new procedures and food on the internet. Keeping up with trends.
