Introduction: I have extensive experience with students at all levels, from early beginners through intermediate and advanced. I have developed a highly personalized approach which consists of fashioning a curriculum based on the individual's strengths, emphasizing a learning process that is productive and enjoyable for each student. I take pride in my understandable approach to music theory, and my ability to draw upon my performance background to cater to a wide variety of musical interests. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Brian has maintained a full roster of piano students since 1987, working at various studios in the Rochester area, including CSE Music in Webster, New York and Northfield Music in Pittsford, New York, as well as St. Michaels School in Newark, New York. He currently resides in Westborough, Massachusetts, traveling the surrounding area for in-home, private lessons with students of all levels and ages. Drawing upon his lengthy experience as both a performer and an educator, Brian is able to personally connect with his students to create a comfortable environment that is conducive to both progress and enjoyment.
