We are extremely happy with the work Jakub has done. He is professional, efficient and a true skilled craftsman. We are so pleased with the staircase he built, we’ve hired him for other jobs in our home. We’ve attached pictures of the beautiful staircase he built but please note we have not yet painted it. With out a doubt we would highly recommend Jakub for any building project!

We hired Jakub to rebuild handrails and guardrails as part of the upgrades and surface refreshes in our new home before we moved in. Working with Jakub was a pleasure from start to finish. He was able to come see the job at the end of a busy Friday work day, and offered ideas and insight as we talked about the project — even while our two little ones ran wild. We wanted to do something that was a bit unique and had some inspiration photos to share while figuring out what our version of the concept would be. He listened to our ideas, added his own, and was able to help elevate the concept for the project. In addition, Jakub worked with us to build the shopping list of parts we needed from a wood supplier we had found online. He was quick to deliver his estimate and very communicative via both text and email. Once the materials arrived, Jakub was efficient to schedule the work, punctual and dedicated for the days he was here working, and thoughtful and conscientious in his execution. Throughout, he showed an excitement for the work he does and a command of his skills and abilities. He works hard, is extremely detail focused (which was exactly what we wanted), and his work draws the attention and praise of everyone who has seen it so far. In fact, we had another tradesman later who was so impressed that he took photos of our handrails as inspiration for his own home!

If you are looking for a person that is doing high quality work, knows all the regulatory requirements, is very reliable and an absolute pro -hire Jakub! He replaced our two staircases and did a meticulous job. He is very responsive and always showed up on time. He pays attention to every detail and really knows his craftsmanship. JW custom woodwork was amazing! He did such a great job. Great attention to detail. Worked hard- was there for 10 hours and then Insisted on cleaning up afterwards. Did a fabulous job! You would be silly not to hire him.

Jakub helped build hardwood stairs after I ripped out old carpet. He also installed three banisters, 33 balusters, and two new newel posts. Took two days. I am separately staining/painting. Very responsive, and most professionalism. Work quality is incredibly high! Stairs are very solid, and have no creeks anymore!
