Modern Energy recently did a Mitsubishi heat pump/cooling system install in our house. I am very impressed with the professionalism this company has. First met Ryan who looked over house for project and provided quote quickly, showed up on time and asked about our needs. The installation crew Dave Wiita and Brandon who explained what they were going to do and how and answered all my questions as project moved forward. I was also impressed seeing these techs using torque wrenches to tighten fittings to spec up on a 24 foot ladder. Being a retired vocational teacher I can appreciate this attention to detail. The electricians Bob and Jeremy gave us options on how to run the required wiring, the conduit was laid out straight, boxes level and plumb all wiring properly secured and neat. How to use the system was explained by Dave and I was told if I had any further questions just call. I highly recommend Modern Energy if you are thinking about installing mini split system in your home.

We had been thinking about mini splits for awhile, as I despise the window ac units that ruin our windows, collect mold and dirt, and don't allow for a constant cooling in the entire house. Working from home I was also attracted to the idea that I could heat or cool my upstairs office, or finished basement on demand without running the heat in the entire floor of the house. After seeing the Modern Energy truck at at neighbor's house and hearing how pleased they were with the company, and the the $10,000 rebate, we decided to move forward ourselves. The team at Modern Energy is extremely helpful and friendly. The helped us every step of the way. We didn't even have to wait on a rebate check. THEY waited for the rebate check, and meanwhile our loan processed with the amount due assuming the rebate check would come in. No hassle or money out of pocket from our side. Did I mention the loan is a 7 year 0% intetest loan?The team installed the units in the course of a week of daytime visits. They were courteous and clean and respectful around our home. If issues came up, they had solutions and alternatives to make everything work within the same time frame and cost.We have received multiple follow up calls as well to check to see if we had any questions about the units. I really appreciate that level of customer service.After our first summer using it, I loved the cooling feature where our house was a constant comfortable temperature. We run it much colder in the bedrooms (60-64), and for the main living areas we basically just keep the humidity out and keep it about 77. It worked so well. It is so quiet. And my electric bills never spiked.We just started the heating season with them, and I love it just as much. I would say that you have to get used to the temperature you find most comfortable with trial and error. We have the units set on the main level at 67 and that keeps the room temperature between 68-72 fluctuating a little bit based on how cold it is outside and if you are cooking etc. But once you find your perfect temperature, you just set it and forget it. We had a warm fall, so next week I'll get my first bigger electric bill for heating for a full month so we'll see how it compares to the cost of oil plus electricity of running the furnace. I find it extremely comfortable however, and so much cleaner.

When I was looking for some Heat Pump systems for my home, Modern Energy was the 2nd company I connected with, and I am glad that I did. My salesman Cesar was great throughout the whole process. I could email him or text him and he would always respond and answer my questions. He walked me through the difference and benefits between a ducted system and mini-splits. The few interactions that I had with the office staff were great, they were always friendly and they did everything they could to accommodate my schedule. They helped me with the Mass Save rebate process and guided me through the whole thing. The workers that came and did the insulation needed before I could get the heat pumps were respectful of all my things and did a great job. They also answered all of my questions and were very respectful of my home. I want to give a great big thanks to Aaron, Dave, Kamil Jaskolski, Sean Whitehurst, and Jordan Allred who worked on installing my heat pump systems. They were all really friendly and made sure to remember each of my family members names. They never got irritated if I hovered or asked questions. They were polite and respectful at all times. They were even friendly to my over attentive dogs. They made sure to leave my home neat and the way it was when they started. They also did not mind answering my abundant questions. To all of you at Modern Energy, thanks for a great experience and I will recommend you to anyone that asks!

We contracted for a Mitsubishi Mini-Split system to be installed, the ownership was fully engaged, the workers were most excellent (Im a construction supervisor, I know good work when I see it) and the work was done in a timely fashion, just as contracted. We couldnt be happier with our experience, Id recommend Modern Energy Now with my fullest confidence.

For anyone considering ductless mini splits, I highly recommend Modern Energy. From the initial site eval and quote, through the heat loan process, the installation, and final inspection they were there to guide me through the process.
