FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a complicated system. I try my best to work with all budgets. I know what its like planning a wedding and stressing about money. That is why I don't have set prices. Every bride wants something different. I try to accommodate everyone.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've had a passion for photography since I was 13. I always had a camera - use to get make fun of all the time. I went to school and took some classes but people always told me I would never make any money doing that and that I should pursue other things. I also worked at a portrait studio for a while. When I was about 25 I started getting back into it, mostly free lance. I did senior portraits as a favor for my husbands sister and got a session booked after that for a 1 year old. After I got married and could dedicate the time, I decided to go full on and start my own business. Here I am a year later, more passionate than ever and desperately wanted to succeed in something I truly love and enjoy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I don't really have a common type of job. I've done couples, families, weddings, children and senior portraits. I've also been hired to shoot pictures at the Arbutus Arts & Craft Festival in early 2013.
