- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for vacation packages vary with each destination and which airport you fly out of so it is difficult to price a package and it stay that price. We price on a case by case basis, finding the best possible pricing available to us. 99% of the time it is better pricing than Expedia, Orbitz, CheapCaribbean, and the rest of the OTAs. If we aren't, then let us know and we will beat it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask them fact finding questions to get a feel of what kind of traveler they are. What their preferences are and where they have already traveled if they have. We then send them quotes on destinations and resorts we feel they'd have a memorable experience at. If they already know where they want to go, we send quotes on resorts in that destination. Once they pick the destination and resort, we book their package and take care of them the rest of the way until they come home. We then call them to see how their trip was and if they enjoyed themselves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly taking courses on different resorts and destinations as well as niches ie destination weddings and honeymoons, dive groups, golf groups. This is an ever changing profession and we need to stay educated and updated.
