Over the course of two months, Terry helped me organize 6 + rooms in my home. She helped me clear the overwhelming clutter by working with me side by side sorting through items; making decisions on what to toss, donate, keep; setting up sustainable, organized systems; putting items in their place; identifying ways to maintain the system and keep the house organized; and setting goals for future projects. She is 'hands on' and not afraid to get dirty. She listens to what I am trying to accomplish and what is holding me back, then provides ideas and solutions in a collaborative way. She is professional, creative and hardworking. She is also very encouraging and supportive, which I greatly needed getting through this seemingly daunting process. I’ve hired professional organizers in the past and what sets Terry apart from the others is that she’s provided ideas and taught me tips I’ve never heard before. She breaks things down into “doable” chunks. I feel very comfortable having her in my home and she has been a tremendous help in getting my home life in order!

After many different attempts to decluttler my home, I came to the realization that I needed help so I goggled "organizers". When I spoke to Terry, she seemed to understand me. She gently, and nonjudgmentally guided me to organize my home one step at a time. Terry seems to be able to see the whole picture and is assisting me to develop a system that works for me and my family. I plan to continue to work with Terry until my home is no longer drowning in clutter. Thank you Terry for all your encouragement!

We spent a lot of time trying to get my “calendar” in order and it was such a great help! I am quite sure that I would have fallen apart... Instead, I was able to manage my days better and probably accomplished more than before… I was able to maintain some order and keep up with deadlines and manage my paperwork. As a result, I "found" time that I didn't think I had! Anyone that can help me "find time" is a genius!!

Terry was very professional and arrived prepared. She came to help my teen daughter organize her room. She 1st sat with my daughter and explained what to expect, then rolled up her sleeves and went to work. She helped show my daughter the value of being organized and how it could help her maintain better grades in school. While my daughter's room still is not up to my standards, it is much, much better than before. And I now have some new tools to utilize to help encourage her to maintain the clean room.

Create paper management systems by introducing mail processing centers and complete filing systems. Organize all interior spaces including kitchens, living and resting spaces, closets and workrooms. Organize garages, basements and attics. Prepare homes for sale ans set up new homes.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Request a telephone assessment to discuss organizational goals. Discuss your needs in detail and ask if the organizer has had experience in your personal challenges. Attain an understanding of the organizing process. Ask if they are a member of National Association of Professional Organizers. NAPO has a code of ethics which organizers abide to. Ask about involvement in their local chapter. Also, look for organizers that provide additional services or added value, ie connection to support services.
