- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every case is different, and depends on the law involved, the facts of the case, the prosecutor who has the case, and the judge to whom the case is assigned. Before quoting a fee, I like to see the charging documents, the police report (if one exists), and talk to the client about the circumstances of the case, including mitigating factors, if any.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly attend training to stay abreast of developments in criminal law.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I handle smaller criminal matters such as speeding, suspended license, DWI/DUI, assault, theft, drug/CDS possession, defense of peace/protective orders, etc. No murder cases for me, please.
