What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard pricing for my everyday salon clients. My event pricing is pretty standard too but can change depending on how big the event is.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just talking and getting to know the person. Everyone's terminology is different so it's a bunch of looking and comparing ideas to make sure we're on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went and graduated from cosmetology school in Baltimore. I also continue to take classes at various hair shows and seminars that are held all over.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always done hair but after my first photo shoot I knew I didn't want to be behind the chair the rest of my life. I like the adrenaline of being on call.
What types of customers have you worked with?
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Just make sure the provider can get the job done. Don't just hire someone because their pricing is so low. Really study the providers work to make sure they can deliver.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Anything they can think of. Again the customer or provider doesn't want any confusion on the day of the event.
