Within hours of posting my inquiry for services I received a response from C H Concrete. They were able to stop by to review the project (8.5 x12.5 slab for a shed) the same day. Juggling with work and raising kids/family, I have several home improvement projects that I’ve put off, some big and small. All of these are now catching up, and one home project that I now prioritized on the top is to build more storage space. This is where my under-deck storage project came in. I need a concrete pad under my deck so I can build a storage enclosure. The ground has been ready for concrete since I had the ground under-deck re-graded with dirt, and gravel several years back. My requirements were simple, and I actually generated the footprint I want.
C H Concrete Services answered my call. In the beginning, I bided out my project and came down to a handful candidates. What stood out from them is their meticulous planning for a successful and aesthetic product. They really scoped and assessed to figure what problems they could get themselves into, at the same time, addressed those to me to ensure their plans would still meet my expectations. I was essentially asking for a flat-slab on un-level (hilly) ground. They cared about their product and their customer’s expectations. (Makes sense to care because what they’re providing is something permanent and could outlive me and further generations down.) The details in their estimate including their proposed dollar value I found was realistic and reasonable for a project to successfully meet my requirements with quality. Their planning showed credibility and gained my confidence. And then we also discussed schedules where I checked the weather forecast to minimize risks. Then I definitely saw the opportunity to get my project done. Bottom line in general, this project was successful and met all the music notes and more. It was also executed efficiently providing a quick-turn-around within/ahead of their schedule.
