Since this is my first experience with a concrete contractor, this will be quite a limited sample of dealing with Lawn Cutters. The excavation for my parking pad proceeded smoothly as did the pouring of the concrete. My major concern is that only a single layer of wire mesh was placed for reinforcement. My concrete knowledge is limited, but it seemed to me that for a 4 inch thick pad, more rebar or the like would be preferable. But with new formulations of concrete available, maybe a single wire mesh will be sufficient. It will take many years to determine the outcome. That only a two year warranty is in force does not comfort me at all. Some finishing touches still remain with the retaining wall, but all payments to Lawn Cutters are complete and Darryl has not responded on site to address my concerns for the last two weeks. Prior to that, he was quite responsive. As for appearances, the pad looks great, and I love driving past all the clogged street parking spaces and having a private spot.
