FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $35 a session, but I offer discounts if you do multiple sessions per week. For best results, I recommend 3 sessions per week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first free session, we'll chat about your goals and previous experience, and then get right into learning basics. We may get carried away having fun learning punches and kicks, but I make sure to leave some time to discuss how training will fit into your life - what kind of time commitment are you able to make, what kinds of things stopped you from training in the past, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching martial arts and fitness for more than 10 years. I have a 4th Degree Black Belt in Karate, and a Brown Belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. I am also a blue belt in BJJ, and have 4+ years of Kickboxing experience (they don't have belts!) I am certified in Personal Training by the American Council on Exercise, and I am certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED by the American Red Cross.
