FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
New customers receive 10% off of their first service. Fees for tax return preparation start at $400. Understand that guidelines change, so a Taxpayer cannot rely too long on previous inquiry or assume for yourself that better opportunities to resolve your tax debts are not available to you. I invite you to inquire.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a tenacious, results-driven accounting professional with 20+ years of proven and progressive success analyzing complex financial documents, ensuring compliance, mitigating potential risk and representing clients before the taxing authorities. A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Enrolled Agent (EA), equipped with highly-transferable skills such as performing detailed forensic accounting, analyzing balance sheets, cash flows and transactions, initiating and spearheading investigations, conducting interviews, reporting, and cultivating productive, long-term relationships with clients, team members and regulatory agencies at the local, state and federal level. I am a dynamic and collaborative asset with specialized experience at the intersection of law and compliance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started college for accounting when I was 16 years old and shortly thereafter began preparing tax returns for veterans, active service members, and civilians in the military town of Camp Lejeune, NC. Eventually I came across an Enrolled Agent; a thoroughly tax-focused credential for experts. That is when I learned Taxpayers were not limited to CPA's and attorneys and I should be an EA to close the gap of commonly narrow or outrageously priced services. Being able to provide holistic services regarding accounting, tax, and representation is a blessing for Taxpayers and me.
