Introduction: Equine assisted services are experiential learning opportunities utilizing a team effort including a licensed Mental Health Professional, a Skilled Equine Specialist, and a horse(s) to provide a variety of mental health services.
Equine assisted psychotherapy(EAP) is an alternative therapeutic approach where a
horse(s) serve as nonverbal messengers to reflect and represent life's obstacles and challenges as clients work towards treatment goals.
Clients engage in activities with horses targeting the development of skills to address individual and family mental health needs including:

~Anxiety
~Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
~Truama
~Autism Spectrum Disorder
~Relationships with others
~Overall mental health and well being
