Introduction: We do high-end fine construction, remodeling, renovation and historical renovation work. We have been in business for 31 years now, all in the same area. We do additions, kitchens, club basements, bathrooms, interior quality remodeling, painting, and exterior renovations of all kinds. We provide design services, engineering and architectural work, if required. Great pride is taken to perform all works with attention to detail, and by using quality products that we know will perform well, because of our research and the test of time we keep track of with our products. We handle the complete project from beginning to end, no matter what type it is. Electrical, plumbing, drywall, masonry, roofing, siding and painting are all covered. We are excellent at providing clean job sites, and leave you cleaner than we were first started the work. Our customers love our skill level, knowledge and the advice we give regarding their project. Our first experience with Burke Construction Company was in 1999. Since that time, Billy Burke has been our contractor of choice for home improvement work. His work is of the highest standard and he uses quality materials in every job. Billy possesses a deep knowledge of construction techniques and materials, and, he goes to great lengths to maintain a clean and confined work space. After completing a job, he thoroughly cleans the work area (he evens cleans the windows). He is honest, personable and conscientious. BCC has installed a pair of picture windows, completed a bathroom remodel, constructed a deck (using grade #1 lumber and the latest synthetic materials), repaired wall damage resulting from a skylight leak, painted the family room and completed various other smaller repairs to our home. His carpentry skills are excellent and he is capable of performing most home repairs. We have recommended Billy to many of our friends.

We made our contact with Burke Construction through a kitchen cabinet maker in Dallastown, PA. The designer for our kitchen recommended Burke Construction Company. We made the contact with him and were extremely pleased with his work and the way inwhich Billy Burke worked with the cabinet company. His workmanship is above excellent. We used all of his subcontractors and were equally pleased with them. Billy Burke has worked with the same plumber and electrician for over 25 years. Billy Burke's expertise, attention to details, and his willingness to work with me on the parts of the project I could do are outstanding. I would highly recommend him.

What types of customers have you worked with?
We do quality interior remodeling projects, where we will design and install new moldings, move walls, renovate existing areas by installing new lighting, windows, paint, fireplace work, etc. We also design and build new high end kitchens, bathrooms, club basements and additions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Prior to hiring a company a customer should seek all of the information they can pertaining to the legal end of the business and the quality of work. I would call the state licensing, (Maryland Home Improvement Commission) and see how long they have been in business and if there are any complaints against the company, and if there were complaints, how were they resolved. I would see if the business is listed with the Better Business Bureau and see the track record. Ask the company for several references and go look at recent work. The more research that you do prior to the start of work can keep you from having big problems during and after the project . Make sure the contract includes all work and a schedule for completion, along with a payment schedule.
