- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of couple and family therapy by attending continuing education events at the local, state, and national levels. I frequently speak and local and national conferences, and teach at a DC-area university in the couple and family therapy master's program.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When considering hiring a therapist, it is vitally important to find one who you feel a sincere connection with. You and your therapist are going to be discussing some tough topics together, and this will happen best when you are comfortable, relaxed, and able to be fully honest and present.
