The Chinese Boxing Academy, led by sifu Greg Hatza, offers the most complete curriculum and a great learning environment for anyone interested in internal kung fu. the training is rigorous but classes are run in a way that's deeply respectful to anyone's physical condition or ability level. The techniques are clearly demonstrated and the theory is always presented but not discussed ad nauseum. Each technique has enormous benefits both for health and martial applications. We are extraordinarily lucky to have this resource in Maryland, where legitimate internal martial arts lineages are uncommon. I urge anyone who may be curious to try it out and discover a deep well of knowledge that will enhance your life and energy immeasurably.

Learning the art of Baguazhang at the Chinese Boxing Academy has been extremely beneficial for me on many different levels. I am in better shape now then I have been my entire life. My balance, flexibility, and endurance have all increased immensely. I have also gained a strong foundation in martial arts skills that could be applied to any other martial art I wish to learn. The Chi Gong that we practice is outstanding and no matter how tired or lousy I may feel before starting a class, I ALWAYS feel markedly better afterwards. The school has a very laid back and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Sifu Greg Hatza is both patient and knowledgeable.

Sifu Hatza gives individually tailored instruction to each student to help the student reach his/her maximum potential in the practice of internal Chinese martial arts.
His teaching style makes Bagua Zhang, Xing Yi Chu'an, and Tai' Chi Chu'an practical, and enjoyable.
