Lawrence was the co coordinator of my wedding in June 2012. He was responsible for the bridal party/family dinner June 8th and the wedding reception on June 9th. Lawrence was also in charge of the cake selection. I was so impressed with his level of professionalism throughout the entire process. Lawrence was always punctual for all meetings and would arrive before me on every occasion. Lawrence had great-attention to detail and displayed his culinary expertise from the beginning to end of the entire planning process. My wedding reception was absolutely everything I had imagined. Lawrence is the type of event planner that thinks outside of the box to provide his clients with an "Extraordinary" experience. I highly recommend him and he is well worth my 5 star rating. I was very pleased with the planning and the catering help that Mr. Oliver did at my home for my mother's 80th birthday party. BS degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management 25 years industry experience 3 years as Teacher in Hospitality Management 12 years Bartender for private functions, private corporate events (Google, Politico, Legg Mason, Johns Hopkins, St. Mary's Seminary, Oldfields School, Garrison Forest School) large catering halls, restaurants/bars just to name a few. .
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first job was a busboy at a local Retirement Community in Catonsville, MD (Charlestown) and have been in the food service and hospitality industry ever since.
