Darwin did an excellent job with helping me rebuild these wood columns in the front of the house. There was wood dry rot on the very bottom section and he removed it and replaced with PVC for lower maintenance. We added a little decorative trim to the top which was a nice touch to it. This photo is prior to it being sanded and painted. This was a big help to me since he made some nice cuts on saw and assembled them. He was responsive and helped pickup the material. I think his prices are fair. I will definitely use him again. Gracias.

Mr. Salgado performed 2 jobs for me. He restored the front door molding and decorative trim around the front door of my 1950s home. He was the only contractor willing to do a restoration instead of replacing with preformed trim. He meticulously re-created the dental molding around the trim (one tooth at a time). He carefully reconstructed the trim taking into consideration my desire to reconstruct being true to the original style. He also replace and repaired the wood trim on my screened porch. He replaced the rotten wood with PVC and re-screened the porch. All the other contractors wanted to demolish the porch and rebuild. The porch is now strong, stable and looks great! I am pleased with the work and will hire him again.

Darwin did a fantastic job with replacing my exterior front door. When I purchased my home, I knew the door needed to replaced/updated. It was old, brown, and drafty. It didn’t feel like a steel door. However, the door that was installed by A&S Contractor is heavy. It looks good. Also, there is no air coming from the side or the bottom of the door. The quality of the installation of the exterior door was one thing, but Darwin also took the initiative to fixed the storm door. I had no idea is wasn’t properly installed. He installed the compassion item on the bottom of the door. It’s the same door but it feels like a heavier, more solid door. The previous one was extremely flimsy. A&S Contractor gave me a fair price. I didn’t have to deal with salespeople and the lengthy presentations. I’m really happy with my new door. It still needs to be painted, but I love it!

Darwin helped me realize I could have the screen door with pet access I really wanted from Lowe’s. He stuck with me through 2 ordering issues on the part of Lowes. When the door finally arrived, Darwin showed up on time and had the door installed in under 2 hours. It looks great!

I have not experienced a contractor professional on that level. Darvin is supposed to install a door for me in my basement. I thought it was impossible to install the door; he came over, took measurements, and told me he would return on Friday. Indeed, he was on time, everything was done professionally, and I was delighted with the work. Also, I need a half bath in my basement. I will contact him again for that as well. Thank you very much, sir.
