Mark Spark Electric was 1 of 3 recommendations I received from Thumbtack. My service cable needed to be replaced and later found out that the grounding of my system was outdated and would need to be upgraded to pass inspection. Mark promptly came back to my home to do a f/u assessment, giving me a clear and detailed description of the grounding work. He then provided a revised, detailed estimate of the service cable including cold water pipe grounding and a 2nd ground rod/electrode. His work ethic, professionalism, dedication to serving his clients, and expertise are evident from beginning to end. He ran into major difficulties due to the shoddy and substandard electric work done by the company who rehabbed my house. He handled it calmly and thoroughly, even though it extended the time he planned to spend on this job several hrs and ended up having to come back a 2nd day to complete the work. I can't say enough about how great this highly skilled and professional master electrician is and would highly recommend him to anyone for any electric job no matter how large or small.

Mark was excellent! He had responded to my thumbtack post and was here the very next day. We agreed of a time of 9:00 AM and he was very prompt arriving at 9:00 AM. Through troubleshooting he was able to determine the electrical issue that I was having and gave me proper advice on how to fix it and what was needed to fix it. I ordered the part that was needed and it is being over nighted and he is coming back Monday morning to install. Exceptional pricing, great customer service, caring individual, willing to work with you, and overall 5/5 experience. I will definitely use him for my panel upgrade and highly recommend him to anyone that needs a Master Electrician, or electrician in general... Great work Mark and thanks.

Doing business with Mark was an A1 experience! I needed a licensed electrician to verify previous work that was done by an unlicensed individual and immediately, he was able to locate and correct the errors that were made. Mark provided answers to all my questions, was prompt in his response and arrival times, and was also very knowledgeable about his craft and the Baltimore Housing permit process. I was very impressed with Mark's level of professionalism and I plan to do business with him again in the future!

Mark was very responsive and understanding regarding the timing of the work that needed to be done. He went above and beyond what was required of him and coordinated on my behalf with the utilities to make sure that the job was completed in a timely manner even though there were curve balls thrown in our paths. Yes as a Master Electrician we are required by law to get continue education every two years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do for clients are generator installs, Service Upgrades and Full Home re-wires for customers.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently finished a full home re-wire in Baltimore city and it really looks good and we passed all inspections on time. It was a really smooth job.
