Introduction: My name is Dous and I am a 50 year old seamstress with over 20 years of professional experience in sewing cloths and alterations! Professionally, I alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, night gowns, and tuxedos, sundress, cocktail dress, and other items for over 20 years! I have also done bedding and curtain alterations . Post covid , I have also made a lot of masks! Please contact us to book your appointment, if you need affordable and professional alterations for your fancy night gowns or even everyday sundress. I provide high quality, professional alteration work for half the fee! My fees are 50% lower than the alteration boutiques and other shops - I encourage you to get your free estimate and compare fees!

I highly recommend Ms. Dous of Master Tailors of Maryland. Ms. Dous altered a dress from size XXL down to a medium. The dress was particularly complicated as the hi-low goddess design required a great deal of skill to size down and shorten to fall correctly. When she measured all sides to ensure it flowed evenly, I knew she was a professional. I was thrilled with the end result. Additionally, Ms. Dous altered a strapless blouse, added bra inserts to 8 bathing suits (she helped me order the correct bra inserts) and shortened a too long tank top. The total job was completed a week earlier than I expected. I spend a fair amount of money with a local dry cleaner’s seamstress to alter clothes as I like my clothes to fit just so. I usually felt about 90% happy with her work and most often felt overcharged but I went with who I knew. Now that Ms. Dous has taken such good care of me, the 40 minute drive is totally worth it. Again, I highly recommend Ms. Dous for alterations services. She was a dream to work with. In addition to her kind and gentle demeanor I found her highly skilled and prices were competitive. Mrs. Dous is AMAZING! Her attention to detail and quality of work is top-notch!
