Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a full-service electrical contractor. I am always willing to give you an on-site estimate for free, as this is the best way for you to get an accurate and competitive quote. I can do anything from wiring a full home or office, installing an electric car charging station to hanging a light fixture or changing out a switch. If you have a nuisance issue (i.e. faulty outlet, a breaker that trips regularly) I will figure it out. If you need to design a lighting system or the workings of a "smart house" I'm your man. I have 10 years of consecutive experience. I take pride in my work, you are not just another job, your project is another medal in my portfolio. I want your business on your terms at your cost and before your deadline.

Replacement of existing security wall-pack lights and exterior door entrance light to our condominium complex. Nathan's low-key, professional, patient, can-do attitude worked well in our situation. Unfortunately the lighting supply contractor made many miss-steps in ordering the proper type of lights, even though they had come out to survey our condo complex's lighting needs earlier. Because of this Nathan had to make several trips out to our property to finish the install, where it should have only been one trip. No fault to him, but he easily rolled with the miss-steps of the lighting supplier, and got all our lights up and in good working order. In fact, we eventually by-passed the lighting supplier and contacted the light manufacturer directly to get the proper parts delivered to us. Over all he was professional, timely, and his rates were reasonable (especially for all the miss-cues of the lighting supplier). We will be using him in the future for any other electrical work our condominium complex will undertake. He made our go-to list.

The job I requested was to have someone replace a 200 foot (under ground) electrical line that ran from my power box inside the house out to the end of my back yard (to an electrical outlet). The current one went bad from corrosion over the years. Additionally, the job included digging up the ground putting the electrical wire in the ground, connecting an electrical outlet at the end of the yard so I could use it to plug in to when having parties and then covering the wire back up and laying sod down. Nathan and 2 other Electricians answered the request. I received a quote from a guy who was going to remove the old receptacle located outside and run the new line inside and connect back up to the existing switch, which is what I wanted however, he was not available right away. Nathan wanted nothing to do with the current run or the current switch I had inside the house. He wanted a whole new run and whole new switch in a new location, which was no problem. The third guy estimate was a little higher because he was going to have 2 helpers and he could not start as early. My first sign that this was going to be a horrible experience was the attitude he had. When I told him I had a sprinkler system, he told me he was going to have to charge me 200 dollars more because I didn’t have a map of my underground sprinkler system and my sprinkler heads and that he would have to go to the store to buy a kit for the sprinkler heads. I told him I have a map and I was going to mark my heads so there is no reason to charge me extra, all he had to do was ask for the map instead of assuming I did not have it. He called Mr. Utility to have the city lines marked however, they failed to mark the water lines and he was surprised to see the city water lines and had another attitude once he found them and had to dig by hand and shovel past to get around them. He started complaining to me that it was causing him more work and time. Long story short, he used a trench digger and this thing made a mess. It dug a hole that was only about 5-6 inches wide but the wheels outside of the hole made really bad mud tracks in the grass. After he finished covering the hole he dug and packed with his feet and bricks, which made things uneven. He cut the sod as close to 6 inches as he could which some pieces came out to 4 inches some 7 or 8 inches and laid it down. This was the worst work I have ever seen. I have been a homeowner and real estate investor for over 20 years and he was the worse. In looking at the reviews, he might be a good electrician; it is too early for me to speak on that as of yet however, he made a complete mess of my yard. As I manually water the sod morning and evening I just look and shake my head. I started to raise the sod and saw how he laid that sod down on top of existing in some places and in some places there is just mud on both sides of the sod. In my flower bed there is still a big hole. Right outside the flower bed there is a huge bare spot. I told him there was going to be a WEDDING in my back yard in 2 weeks and I didn't expect the sod to be sitting and looking perfect but to at least look like someone done a good job. My neighbor has already committed on the job and it was not favorable! Nathan should have never taken on this job. I really regret hiring Nathan, hiring him was a huge disappointment. My only alternative now is to hire my lawn guy to fix the mess he made. I wish I could upload pictures of what my yard looks like after he finished with it so that no one else have to go through what I went through. Oh and cleaning up after his self; he did not do that at all. He left dirt from the sod all over my patio, dirt inside my basement door, drywall dust all over my floor. He did leave his shoes outside after the one time but never bothered to get up the mud he left inside. He blew the drywall dust off of the small refrigerator onto the floor and left it there, pencil markings on my wall where he drew out the light switch and decided to move it. He also used a different color light switch cover than what was in the room. In looking at the other reviews, I think I must have got a different guy. He did not explain anything, in fact when I ask him something, he seem to be irritated and would be short or tell me something completely different from what he was going to do, i.e.; I ask if he was going to cut out the grass where the machine made the tracks in the grass so that he could fit the sod in place, he said "yes". However, he cut the sod instead down and attempted to fit it into the 6 inch wide cut the trench digger made which was very sloppy. Look like some pieces were 4 and 5 inches, some were 7 and 8 inches. The tracks tore up the grass and its just mud there now. The work was below standards. So dissatisfied and disappointed. He should never take on a job that is not in his area of expertise and good customer service in any situation is important.

I hired Nate to install 3 hanging fixtures over my kitchen island. Nate asked all the relevant questions prior to providing an outstanding quote. He arrived on time, was very efficient and even made suggestions on alternate locations for the fixtures which enhanced the final look in my kitchen. I plan to use Nate for all of my upcoming jobs and have forwarded his information to all of my friends!
