Shaleena is an exceptional wedding coordinator. She is quick to respond, available to answer any questions/concerns, provides helpful ideas, all while making the experience as fun and stress-free as possible. Hiring Golden Events was by far, the BEST decision we made throughout our whole process. It took the stress and anxiety of the event off our shoulders. The month leading up to the event, she was in contact with us to ensure the process was going smoothly, to assist with any questions or concerns, and helped make our floor plan, timeline, and offered thoughts that hadn’t even occurred us when planning. The day went off without any issues. All the decorations were in the correct place and set up well. She ensured that the guests, the bride, groom, and family were comfortable and had everything they needed. She was attentive to detail and ensured that the day was perfect. Our wedding was in late September 2022. After finding all of our vendors & planning how our day was going to be, we needed somebody to complete certain tasks that we knew we wouldn't be able to do since we were going to be at the ceremony... We hired Golden Events as our Day of the Wedding Coordinator. Shaleena Butler, owner, was inquisitive to understand our needs, and easy to work with. She went above and beyond when our venue fell short in several expected services. She was always pleasant and professional despite the chaos in certain situations. We would recommend Shaleena Butler as a wedding coordinator to any future couples looking for help in executing their wedding plans.

They were exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our wedding. They were super patient with all our questions during the planning process and during the days just prior to our wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals to make our day the most amazing day ever. (GE) were and are so sweet, down to earth and personable! We had such a great experience with (GE’s)! They were attentive, easy to work with and professional. They provided anything and everything we needed although we chose to keep it simple. They handled my family and friends perfectly and gave my husband everything he asked. ( Even when my husband and whole wedding party got stuck on the elevator). They kept me ( the bride) calm when I thought my day was ruined. I am so thankful for them. When it came down to the photos we had a blast! We recommend them highly! Golden Events was amazing, kind, professional, attentive, on point answering back to emails, calls, changes and concerns. They made my wedding beautiful and more than what I expected! They had great vendors as well! Golden Events is incredible!

Shaleena was such a pleasure to work with! She was on time, very responsive to all request and paid very close attention to every detail. My Mother In Love was over the top ecstatic with Shaleena's execution of her 40th wedding Anniversary Celebration . My only regret is that I didn't know about Golden Events when I got married. Before taking on a new client a 30min free consultation is scheduled to assure that Golden Events is the best fit for you & you as a client is the best fit for us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the wedding and coordinating industry since I was 10yrs old. My mother was a successful wedding planner in New York for about 20yrs and she ran the business as a family business teaching me everything from budgeting, dealing with customers at every level before she passed the torch to me.
