We had drainage problems in a few areas of the property, the front of the home needed improved garden beds, and we have a blue spruce tree ( of sentimental value) that had root damage and needed to be either taken out or straightened with cables. We also had front stops that needed to be secured, & a peach tree that needed pruning and fertilizing. Joshua and Nathan came to our home, assessed the needs, explained in detail what they felt would help and gave us a very fair cost to do the required work. They came out on Monday ( before we were awake), and quietly started their work on the drainage problems. They installed 3 Hugel beds for that. They then began work on the old flower beds, re-using some of the plants and planting others so to have color year round. The bed is now fairly maintenance-free with perennials. They fixed the steps, babied the peach tree in the back yard, straightened the blue spruce with cables, trimmed some low branches on the property (above & beyond the contract) and did all this within 2 days as promised. I was most impressed with their commitment to the environment, their knowledge in the field, their honesty & integrity. The work was done in a professional manner, no mess left in the yard, and they left us with instructions for maintaining the work. They were a pleasure to work with and we plan to have them return for other projects. They called 2 days later after a storm to check on the effectiveness of the Hugel beds & to make sure we were satisfied with their work.

Josh and Nathan certainly know what they're doing. They provided a thoughtful design that includes beautiful low maintenance native plants that really dressed up the front of our house at a very reasonable price. They are great communicators and are wonderful in offering useful advice for lawn and landscape care. They actually went beyond what we expected, and we're very pleased to have found a trustworthy landscaping partner

Although we were pleased with the extensive work Permascapes performed for us we are now disappointed. Some of the plants are sickly. One they even removed with a promise to replace. They have not returned on several days they said they would to replace the plant and are no longer responding to emails or voice mails. Very Disappointing.
