We understand budgets and try to keep cost down for you, that being said we do not build back anything based on just cost . we have to make sure your build back is properly done and compliant to codes, safety and all provisions. ( SALE ! ) ADDITIONS & NEW HOME BUILDS: The typical cost for a new Addition or Home Build can be as little as $ 35,000. for a completed small addition all the way up to $125,000. or more, for a larger Addition depending on square footage and high end or builders grade items selected for the build. Cost for Home Builds are based on square footage, materials required for design, high-end or Builders grade items selected, foundation type and many different types of lot preperation needs including county inspections and compliances for all mandates. Our typical cost for building a HOME starts at $100. a square foot. That being said , we have to inspect the lot you chose, Prints/design and after a few meetings determine and give you the projected cost and variables that could arise. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Typical process for your Project: We generally will schedule a consult/estimate and take a look at the project,s location, accessibility, and speak with the Home owner or Business owner on what they are looking for and assist with any information & feedback that can help the Owner as well as protect the owner. We assist with the original Scope of Work as well as any design or material/sub needs. We also Give the owners more information about us as well as let them know of any SALES or discounts available to them, at that time we like to ask the owner of any concerns, questions or comments we can help with. Once the estimated quote is given to the owner we do a follow up to see if we can assist with any questions or needs. Once project contract is signed and agreed upon we then schedule a time to start , order materials and give a reciept for down payment and a payment draw schedule. ( NEVER GIVE ANY CONTRACTOR, HANDYMAN, or PERSON DOING WORK ALL YOUR MONEY DOWN !) Maryland law is Thirds . You will receive a receipt every time you give us a draw. At the end of the job we meet at the project and go over the scope of work completed and ensure you are happy with the completed project. We have been licensed in the STATE of MARYLAND for over 25 years or more with: M.H.I.C. # 72846 ( MARYLAND HOME IMPROVEMENT COMMISSION) CONTRACTOR/SALES license and a General License, I have 30 years background, Started Framing & Building houses for Ryan, Roland, & Ryland in home developments, Remodeling, Restoration & Preservation on older homes and historic homes. Then opened my business 25 years ago in Building & Remodeling. We have recommendations for our work from Building Inspectors, banks and 35 yrs or referrals from our clients. We are part of Building Trades Asssociation as well as certified with the many material suppliers on their applications. Are personnel is always up to date with the latest developments, skill enhancements, codes and materials as well as application principles or any updates to newer products. I have been a Master Carpenter/Builder for over 25 years as well as wearing all the hats to run a business successfully and properly.
