- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes my prices are based on a standard labor chart and fabric prices for the garment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with all customers in the same manner when creating custom garments. I start with a consultation where we discuss the ideas for the garment, go over prices, and fabric options. At this meeting we would also collect a deposit for the work. from here we create a sample dress to ensure the fit and style are correct for the garment and review fabric samples. after fitting the sample perfect we would then start to work with the actual fabric to complete the garment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in fashion design and served as an apprentice to a seamstress in DC for over 4 years.
